Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using IntentBrief ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

IntentBrief is a personal development application that delivers daily curated insights based on your selected life goals (intents). The App provides content designed to support personal growth, mindfulness, productivity, and well-being.

Subscription and Billing

Free Trial

New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to all App features. You will not be charged during the trial period.

Subscription Plans

Monthly: $6.99 per month, billed monthly
Yearly: $59.99 per year, billed annually

Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds will be provided for partial subscription periods.

User Responsibilities

By using the App, you agree to:

Use the App only for lawful purposes
Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
Not use the App in any way that could damage or impair the service
Not share your subscription access with others

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the exclusive property of IntentBrief and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The insights and content provided through the App are for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without express written permission.

The content provided through IntentBrief is for informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INTENTBRIEF SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.

Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless IntentBrief, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorney's fees, arising out of or in any way connected with:

Your access to or use of the App
Your violation of these Terms of Service
Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights
Any claim that your use of the App caused damage to a third party

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution: Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at support@intentbrief.app. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days.

Binding Arbitration: If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its rules. The arbitration shall be held in the United States. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding.

Class Action Waiver: YOU AND INTENTBRIEF AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Exception: Either party may bring a lawsuit solely for injunctive relief to stop unauthorized use or abuse of the App without first engaging in the informal dispute resolution process described above.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.

Waiver

The failure of IntentBrief to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. Any waiver of any provision of these Terms will be effective only if in writing and signed by IntentBrief.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or any rights or obligations hereunder, without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section shall be void.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IntentBrief regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior and contemporaneous agreements, proposals, or representations, written or oral, concerning the App.
